Pine Squirrel

Kolinsky
Kolinsky belongs to the Weasel category. Its hair tips, however, are longer than those of Weasel, and thus being able to offer a very pleasant touch on the skin and high firmness; it is used for eye shadow brushes. This highly valuable material is also often utilized for nail-type brushes, due to its high controllability .

Weasel
Extremely high firmness, excels in coloring and powder retention. It can be used for any texture, such as powder type, liquid type or cream type brushes, making it usable in a wide variety of tools, from eye shadow brushes to lip brushes and concealers.

Cat
Spherical shaped hair, soft and very easy to control, with superb coloration.
Cat hair is short, used mainly for shadow type brushes, but also very pricy: as it requires advanced techniques and skills to produce, it is not widely used.

Raccoon Dog
Long, thin and sturdy hair with the firmness on the tips. Its stability makes it especially suitable for concealers, liquid foundation and other liquid type brushes. We take advantage of such traits to use it also for mascara, eyebrow and powder puffs.
